Meet Dr. Garfinkel

Dr. Marc Garfinkel (Dr. G) lives in the Denver metro with his wonderful wife, Lisa. Together, they have two grown, amazing daughters, Alexa and Bo.

Dr. G graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1985, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Certification in Acupuncture. He practiced in Florida seven years before moving to beautiful Colorado in 1994.

After an additional 3 years of training, in 1996 he earned a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians and is currently one of only 472 Chiropractic Sports Diplomates in the world.

Dr. G’s interest in sports and wellness began well before his chiropractic career. As a collegiate wrestler, he realized the importance of training to prevent injuries and caring for his body. He knew he wanted to help people achieve a better, healthier life with family, work, and play. For the athlete, professional or amateur, his goal is to enhance performance, treat injuries, and prevent further ones.

Over the last 37 years, Dr. G has developed a robust wellness and sports chiropractic and acupuncture practice with a specialty in extremity injuries. This expertise was utilized when he served as a Sports Chiropractor for the Florida Sunshine Games and Junior Olympics. Moreover, Dr. G has established a successful consulting career, having been asked to come into the workplaces of major companies, such as Costco and Office Depot, counseling workers on ergonomics and workplace injury prevention.

Dr. G has a special interest in guiding people towards reducing the effects of the aging process. He emphasizes both treatment and prevention. His strategies are designed to take into account each individual's level of health and fitness. He does not take a cookie cutter approach, instead, he reviews each person’s abilities, lifestyle, and motivation.

As your doctor, Dr. G will emphasize your education. It is important to him that his patients truly understand their condition and the array of treatment choices available. Together you will set goals so there is always a measure of improvement.

In his free time, Dr. G has been a member of the Centennial Rotary Club since its inception in 2001, and was president in 2014. Additionally, Dr. G loves bonding with his patients on topics such as volunteering, public speaking, cooking, hiking, running, and writing. Despite his many interests, he loves his practice and hopes to never retire.
